The task was to keep the canvas construction with the rear-view mirror frame.

We decided for a stable construction made of steel section setted on the edges of the cargo area and over the canvas. The construction has a protective function in case of a loop and to prevent a rolling motion of the car over the rear. The Technitop roof tent was mounted on the steel construction.

On the original roof rack a plate of aluminium with overturned and weld-shutted edges was setted up. It has a high twisting rigidity and offers the complete usability of the original roof rack and keeps away the heat of the summer (tropic roof efect).
